At Saint Joseph Academy, we may be the smallest high school in San Diego County, but our impact on the field is anything but small. With 8 CIF Championship appearances and 4 wins, and a growing legacy of success, our Crusader athletes compete with heart, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Our size allows us to foster a close-knit athletic community where every student has the opportunity to participate, lead, and thrive. Our dedicated coaches are not only experts in their sports, but also mentors who model discipline, faith, and sportsmanship. Whether it’s a championship match or a hard-fought practice, our athletes play to win with virtue and grace.

Inspired by St. Paul’s call to run the race for an imperishable crown, we form champions for Christ on and off the field by using the gifts of sport to glorify God, cultivate virtue, and build a community of faith and fraternity. We pursue athletic excellence as a path to holiness, competing with honor, winning with humility, and losing with grace—always striving for excellence in mind, body, and soul.
