Faith
… faithful Catholics who:
- Know, understand, and love the Faith as proclaimed by the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church;
- Defend the content, unity and vitality of the Faith, always ready to give an account for our hope (cf. 1 Peter 3:15);
- Love the Lord our God with all our hearts and our neighbor as ourselves (cf. Matt. 22:35-40);
- Emulate the lives and virtues of the saints through daily prayer and frequent reception of the Sacraments.
Reason
... scholars who:
- Reason and persuade with truth and charity;
- Accomplish academic goals through resourcefulness, critical thinking, and applied knowledge;
- Pursue Wisdom through Beauty, Goodness and Truth, going beyond basic and systematic knowledge;
- Comprehend and demonstrate the unity and complementarity of faith and reason. (cf. Fides et Ratio)
Virtue
…citizen leaders who:
- Deepen and strengthen our mind, body, and soul by embracing the theological and cardinal virtues;
- Achieve true greatness by imitating the humble, diligent, and joyful service of St. Joseph;
- Protect the most vulnerable, from conception to natural death, and advance the Culture of Life;
- Evangelize and serve the world by bearing witness to Christ, thus renewing the face of the earth. (cf. Ps. 104:30)
